The Liberty SJ10 Sumpjet Water-Powered Back-up Pump makes sure that your basement is kept dry during power outages. It comes with an indoor alarm that runs at 115V with a 9V back-up battery. It is powered by the municipal water supply so it does not require electricity to operate. However, the SJ10 requires an uninterrupted water source to operate. If you have a well pump, the SJ10 will not operate during power outages. This factory pre-assembled pump has a discharge size of 1-1/2″ NPT and comes with a diaphragm switch for automatic water flow capabilities. The pump’s performance data and other details are available in the specification sheets. The Liberty SJ10 is fully automatic yet compact. It is equipped with a ” Sharkbite water inlet connection, and includes an adjustable stainless hose clamp for quick and easy mounting. This backup pump features a built-in backflow valve to prevent unwanted water from leaching back into the system, and can handle temperatures of up to 130 degrees F.
