Rubber-Cals EPDM rubber sheeting is a versatile product with superior resistance to intense physical conditions. This synthetic rubber compound is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber to inherit the strengths of both materials. SBR rubber gives this synthetic rubber sheeting a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This EPDM rubber has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is hard, yet flexible. The key feature of EPDM synthetic rubber is its excellent durability against damaging weather conditions. Beyond its outdoor abilities, the chemical resistance of EPDM makes the sheet rubber material ideal for industrial locations which might be prone to the presence of such potentially corrosive substances. This hard rubber sheeting also has a wide temperature range and performs well in temperatures from -40 F to 212 F.
