Find combustible gases in an instant with the NIST-certified CD100A When you need to detect combustible gas leaks in residential and commercial environments, the UEi Test Instruments NIST-certified CD100A is the perfect serviceman’s tool. The semiconductor sensor responds to gas with a variable audible tick sound, which increases in volume when exposed to gases with 50 parts per million or more. As gas is detected, the tick rate increases, and you can move the instrument to follow higher concentrations of gas until the leak is found. Three other features make the CD100A extra convenient. A long 18” gooseneck gives this device flexibility and agility in tight quarters. A tip-light on the sensor cover illuminates the area around a leak. For noisy environments, a red LED light flashes more rapidly as tick rate increases. The CD100A also comes with optional earphones so that you can hear the variable tick rate no matter the level of background noise you are experiencing.
